A good book for first-year radiology residents to understand the basic physics of x-rays, image identifiers, and dark-room. MRI made easy Govind Chavhan A small handbook that covers the essentials of MR physics. This is an amazing book. It explains physics easily to equip the junior radiology registrar for the FRCR part 1 physics exam.

There are questions from the exam which are contained by the facts in this book. This book summarises things in a more succint and intuitive way compared to Farr's.

If I had to do the exam all over by: Physics of Radiology isn't as complete a text as Martin's, it seems more like a handbook than a physics text, but it is definitely useful and is full of examples that I can't find in other books.
